time is of the essence

today I hope to finish a couple projects I’ve started. Lately free time has been at my disposal. In my opinion, too much of it. However next week this will not be the case and the weeks after that.

Life is expensive. Who knew it costs $125 to put a water bill in your name? In other news I had a great afternoon at Espresso News, drinking coffee and savoring my free time.

I had cashew chicken for the first time today since Thailand. My head was flooded with memories of eating rice & cashewchicken at Peter’s just about every day. When we moved back to Germany and told him goodbye all he wanted was for us to “SMS” him. “SMS me! SMS me! You SMS me!”

Took photos of Hannahs jewelry in the afternoon. Her stuff is in.cre.dible: check it out @ http://www.etsy.com/shop/anotherfeather. then we all cooked Breakfast for dinner (B for D) at Windy drive, watched Julia and Julie, finished the night off with group Pilates

free veggie pizza

with one comment

Lately I’ve had some good friend time. In Greensboro my favorite spot is Tate Stree Coffee and that ^ is my favorite boy to go with.

This Winter is going to be a good one. Full of friendship, snow walks, and new experiences. I am still job hunting, but i’m sure something will turn up. Justina and I did Pilates today. We (8 girls) also ordered Veggie Pizza that had a baked in hair…. so that called for a free veggie pizza.

He is sovereign.

He is sovereign.

There is no question in my mind that Jesus is in control of our lives. He is good.

Carrie and I played with a room full of cats at the shelter today. Its a little scary how much i like cats… In August I will be moving to Calgary. It was a very weird decision process, but of course i’m excited. India for the month of May. Until then? i’m in desperate need of a job.

Sometimes things really aren’t as complicated as you make them out to be.

only for a moment

its tuesday, espresso news is sheltering my body and mind from the outside cold. the wind is so strong that it won’t let the snow touch the ground. I watch it spin around, be lifted up and down as if on a string. meanwhile i  dream of sun and all it has to offer…the nice color it changed my hair this July.

the past couple days my mind has wandered a little too far. possibly from lack of company, and possibly due to some big decisions.

goal for the week: blog every day.
